... allow the family only to be halfway murdered by the ghosts (thus rendering them immobile so Barnabas could make decisions for them), while an ambulance stands by to speed them directly to the hospital, where they'd be away from Collinwood and the disaster!

I do kind of like the idea of Angelique using Cindy's doll Kitty Carry All in a voodoo ceremony. Even better: using the doll in a Very Brady Annabelle.
