Grayson Hall estate item to be auctioned by Sothebys

This item is confirmed as having belonged to Grayson.  Unlike many things that pop up on Ebay.
 
Anyone got a few extra pennies ??

"By descent"- this can only mean either Sam or Matthew Hall is selling it.  Considering all the stuff Grayson and Sam collected together in NYC and their Rhinebeck house, it would make sense that some excess stuff would be sold off as time went on.

The table really is a ravishing little bibelot.  I love to think of her having coffee at it and relaxing.  She had such fabulous taste.

Too bad I don't have that kind of cash hanging around that I could use.  I would love to touch somethng Grray had been apart of! :)
