MB, I assume that you've heard his claim of being an extra in the HODS party sequence. I know that he is listed on imdb as a cast member. Do you believe that he's in the movie?

(Hmmm - I have no idea. And IMDb isn't necessarily always completely accurate. But I will definitely keep a lookout for him the next time I watch that film. Though heavens knows when that might be...)

I am very skeptical of his claim. He told one of my friends that his scene was cut from the movie, so there is no record of him being in it. No sign of him in any pictures from the location that I have ever seen. Nor has he ever produced any pictures of himself on the set with or without any of the actors. I know that if I had been on the set of a movie--any movie--at the age of 15 or 16, I would have pictures of everything that I could.
His story changes somewhat depending on the gullibility of who he is talking to. He told another friend that the party cameo was a consolation prize from DC who wanted to cast him as one of the principles. I can't imagine DC being that magnanimous. Nor can I imagine him casting a teenager with no acting experience as any of the key players. (Even KLS never came up with anything that implausible.)

(True - it sounds a lot less plausible than anything KLS has ever said!! Plus, at his age who would he have played?  David Henesy may have been antsy and made sure DC was paying him the same amount of salary that all the other supporting players were making, but it's hard to imagine DC recasting David with someone with no experience. And there are no other characters in the script in that age range.)

It wasn't David Collins that he was claiming that he was going to play. I think it was either Todd or Jeff or Willie. Not buying it! I don't think that either of us is a huge fan of Roger Davis but Roger has far more credibility as an actor. And at least his credits on imdb appear to be genuine.
