Wasn't Maggie Evans his first choice to begin with?  I'm sure he knew she could die the first time.

Oh yeah, but THAT was totally different. Ummm, I think, wasn't it? No?

Well, he has obviously tremendously improved as a person in that amount of time and now sees Maggie as more than a means to his own ends. That or the ends aren't for him, and that makes all the difference? [wink2]

Dear Blue Whale Barfly,

Yes, it was heartening to see Barnabas finally show some concern for Maggie.  I guess it's a case of better late than never.

Why, Bob? Are you that bad at it? [wink2]

Actually, I thought Barney's Bee was a tavern that our intrepid part-time vampire opened to compete with the Blue Whale!

Can't you just see Julia atop a baby grand, her legs crossed seductively as she croons "Mad About The Boy"?

Scout 75,

No, quite the opposite.  I guess it's like those flicks "Manhattan," "The First Wives Club," and "Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow."  Regretably, we males, instead of using our brains, often use another organ to dictate our actions.

So, I guess we should all endeavor to be more like Sam Evans and less like Gregory Trask!

Candlelighter I LOVE your signature!

Is that a quote from "The Soprano's"?

Hey Candlelighter,

Sometimes I feel like that guy in that cinematic classic, "Porky's."  You know, the guy who makes Miss Balbreaker's "acquaintance" in that shower scene in one of the greatest film comedies of all time.  Ouch!!!
