Didn't see a thread for newbies to introduce themselves, so Hello everyone.


Grew up watching DS as a youngin, sadly it's been so long that most of it is a blur these days.

My plan is to watch the entire series, from the beginning on dvd, already bought DS:The Beginning/Collections 1-2 on dvd.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to chatting with everyone here.

VWC-- welcome.   Here's something I think all members should be told:  You know those Cures/Curses at the left side of the screen?   On this board, "Curses" are good, and "Cures" are bad.   If you start racking up "Curses", that's a good thing.   I'd hate new members to think the old members are mad at them, and leave, not knowing it's the opposite...

yes welcome aboard here, if i'm not myself today it's cause it's my 32nd b-day. & i'm pissed off & depressed. my family, that'd be my  rents, my brother his wife & little girl. she's only 3. have gone off to disney world without me yesterday!

& left me home! nice family huh? so i get to spend the day by myself cause i took the week off from work as well. hey they aren't the ONLY ones who can do that ya know? he he. so if anyone here thinks i'm not my particular charming self today

as they old saying goes. that's why. even though that's depressing me among other reasons. i honestly did mean it when i said welcome aboard. i have no reason to go off or be disrespectful to anyone here. so i won't go off on anyone here don't worry about that. anyways i can say this honestly i think you will have fun here on this site. & when i'm in a better mood i think we can good chats as well.

Is this the thread for all newbies to say hello?

I'm one of those fans who beat a path off the school bus to get home to watch DS. Discovered it again later on on Sci-Fi and now the wonderful DVDs.

My favorite characters are Barnabas, Julia, Burke Devlin, Willie, Carolyn, Quentin, and Chris, but all the charcters are rather timeless, imo.

Isn't it lovely how this show never seems to get old and has captured the interest of people who weren't even alive when it originally aired?
