The Boston Herald loves DS - and who are we to argue with that?  

And I can honestly say I love all the vamps that made the list. It's especially nice to see Buffy's Harmony and The Gates' Claire on it.

It's great to see Barnabas Collins given the respect his character deserves. I agree MB on the names on that list. Barnabas Collins, however, He isn't doing that great in the article's poll asking who your favorite bloodsucker is. Thanks for sharing that article Julia99.

Barn is currently #2 after True Blood's Eric. That's not too bad - especially considering that Eric is current and extremely popular. (Though Barn does have Buffy's Spike (not surprising) and The Gates' Claire (very surprising, but certainly deserved) chomping at his heels and tied for #3.)

That is true especially in light of the fact that True Blood has fresher blood. Oh these polls.... can't take them too seriously I guess.

Hmmm -  I see the gap between #1 and #2 in the poll has closed dramatically. When I posted about it before, Eric had 33% of the vote, while Barnabas had 14%. But currently Eric has 26% vs. Barn's 23%. Apparently a lot of DS fans have gotten wind of the poll...

Druscilla is now leading @21% with Eric @ 17% and Barnabas @ 16%

Drusilla? WOW! 

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE Drusilla. But when it comes to these polls I'm always frustrated to see that she (as well as Buffy/Angel's Darla) barely get out of single digits and are way behind. And yesterday she had only 2% of the vote whenever I looked at the poll. For her to surge ahead like that is beyond a miracle!

I just looked at the poll again and Drusilla is holding steady at 30%, but Barnabas is now in second place with 18% of the vote. Pretty good showing  for our favorite old bat, so far anyway.

The poll closed and Barnabas I think did well at 23% for a second place finish.

I still can't get over the fact that Drusilla came in first. Where are all those voters normally?

I am always disappointed when Barnabas comes in less than first place in these polls. I don't know what people are thinking when they place their votes-certainly not with their brain jk

I'm guessing they are under 40 and have no idea who he was..is...but that is all soon to change, or so we hope.
