([pointing-up]  [a1f5]  That really should have been the lyrics. But then, back in the '60s they were going for homespun, innocent comedy with that show. If it was on today, it would have been anything goes - especially with that water tank!!)

([pointing-up]  Yeah, considering how straightlaced the networks were back then, I've often wondered how that happened?! Maybe by the time they figured it out, it was too late to change it - especially with the town's name being used on multiple shows.)

I think that some stuff got by the censor because they simply didn't grasp what was happening. Carol Burnett had a skit set in a nudist colony. The joke was How do nudists dance? The censors prohibited the response Very carefully. But they did approve Cheek to Cheek. [8_1_215] [128] [8_1_215]
