Setup:

Thinking over the whole Leviathan debacle, Nicholas concluded that the plan's failure had been entirely due to one catastrophic mistake on his part: _________

Can you imagine the two of them as the "parents"?! Alex, Michael and Jeb would have been more screwed up than ever!!  

But this:
