I've said this before, but your encyclopedic knowledge of this sort of stuff is amazing! I'm pretty sure I never heard of them before your post and then googling them - but then I don't think I ever watched the Mickey Mouse Club...

Thank you, MB! Being a couch potato (though I do prefer the term pop culture savant) has paid off in ways that I never expected it to. These arcane bits of information have come in handy in many situations, not just here on the boards. More than one celebrity has been astonished that I have actually seen some of their obscure work and can quote from it. The memory doesn't always work that well outside my specific categories. I can't recite more than a couple of lines from the Gettysburg address but I can still tell you the first and last names of the original Mouseketeers. Which I obviously felt was more important.

(Thanks for saying something about yourself, UR.  Same with me, scattered knowledge on things less than earth-shakingly important, in my case no thorough knowledge on any one thing in particular, so not so encyclopedic in my case.)
