Conrad Bain (Mr. Wells, '66 & '68) in Times Home Section
« on: November 29, 2009, 08:50:16 PM »
The article from Saturday's LA Times (p. E4) is currently here: Conrad Bain has diff'rent priorities

In case it leaves the page, the article says that Bain, 86, has listed his Brentwood home of 34 years in order to reside near his children in Northern California.

I was afraid this was going to be an obituary.  Well, it could have been in the "Home" because he died at home.... no?   Anyway, I hate all the obituaries this year.   Everyone's dying.   Where's C D Tate when you need him?

I remember C Bain from Maude.   That was a great show.   Strange how everyone remembers late 70s TV not early 70s TV.  Thankfully, I was in college in the late 70s and didn't have time.   It still sounds as if I think he's dead, doesn't it?   I'm "remembering" him....

Mr. Bain has a son, Kent, who lives in Connecticut and has owned a renowned classic/antique car restoration business for over 30 years.
(I briefly dated someone who used to work for him.)

I see Conrad Bain has been married to the same lady, Monica, an artist, for SIXTY-FOUR YEARS!
God Bless 'em. [hall2_smiley]

I think this is their daughter Jennifer, who is also an artist:
