Apparently corpses don't rot in DS!!!

LOL - "Eve" has been on that table for how long now? - In addition to her time in the dirt rotting.  Damn that room must smell by now.  Doesnt this seem just a tad illogical? ;)

Absolutely!  I never understood how they kept the bodies "fresh" enough to keep them looking life like--it feels so icky to talk about it that way  :-X.  Adam was apparently getting some kind of injection, but I don't understand how this would work because he was dead and there was no way to circulate the solution through his body.

I know that this is one of those that you can't think too hard about, but it pushes it a little too much.

And to top it all off, people are lifting up the 'blankie' or whatever it is and peeking in..that must release a very bad bad smell. I guess if they can stand Jeff Clark, they can stand the smell  ;)

There may be something applied into the air that acts as a preservative, or the future Mrs. Adam,(Collins?)  is resting on a thin slab of ice, or the injections could very well be the preservatives used to keep Twinkies fresh!

BTW...since Adam has Barnabas' life force is he a Collins?

Good question. Adam doesn't have a last name, does he? I think it should be Lang. ;) That's who made him, after all.

I also notice that the future bride of the monster must be wearing one of those pointy bras that were so popular in the 50's.

It must be the lysol that's killing the smell under those blankies.  Or, they have those stick-ups?   ;)

LOL and there are more to come as the series continues.....I always laugh whenever a character mentions a  "perfectly preserved" corpse. Don't know how the actors said it with a straight face.

"Adam Lang"  hey you know that sounds pretty good together. ;)

Wouldn't it just have been easier for Jeff to rob funeral parlors instead of digging up graves all the time? This way he could have at least saw what they looked liked first. [puke]

And let's not forget that one day in Collinsport can be the equivalent to one week real time. What I am wondering is how useful those body pieces and parts are after they've been embalmed?

Spoilers for upcoming Eps!

I believe in later eps, Barnabas tries to pass Adam off as Adam Collins; one of those arbitrary European Collins members that are prone to show up from time to time.

I always thought of the same thing regarding Liz. She sets up all these "burial bonuses", such as the bell and air vents, but if she made it to the coffin, wouldn't she have had to been embalmed?! You can just come back to life after that!
