This TV critic responded to a question regarding how a new Dark Shadows would do on TV today (and not from me lol). What a critic.

I think it comes down to how
Dark Shadows
would be done. To do DS now the same way it was done then would be like trying to do a new
Star Trek
by copying slavishly the original show--cheesy special effects, inherent sexism, etc. Wouldn't work.
