FYI The October 12, 2009 episode which I DVR'd was partially filmed at Greystone. You can see one of the guest actors walk up the stairs leading to the Old House and then enter the Old House. Some shots were filmed inside and Greystone never looked better. It was only one or two scenes but it was  good to see Collinwood-well the Old House. I am sure they will add this episode to FOX's website probably next week or so.

Fox posts eps on their website 8 days after they air.  But in the meantime, I found this:  Part 1 (of 5) on YouTube with the entire opening segment (the scenes jimbo mentioned) taking place at Greystone.  But if you feel a little disoriented looking at the house, it's not you-- this upload is backwards.  [hall2_rolleyes]

Thanks for the heads up!

Wow Midnite you are right. Watching the Youtube uploaded version does look weird and I believe the Greystone scenes were edited on the Youtube upload. I did not know you can upload a video on Youtube backwards-now that is something I would do lol Watching the show in HD really makes Greystone look even better. It's good that FOX uploads its episodes to its website. I don't believe CBS does that.

To add a bit of amazing irony, portions of this season's first episodes, wherein "House" was in a detox facility, were filmed in Greystone Psychiatric Hospital, a now-largely-abandoned establishment in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

That is very ironic. House MD and Dark Shadows-couldn't dream that there would be a common denominator between the shows.

For another look at Greystone in a movie (and there are quite a number of scenes feauring the interiors), watch the Bette Davis movie "Dead Ringer."  If you're a "One Life to Live" viewer, you'll also see Phil Carey (Asa) in this film.  And though it's not really DS-like, it's a great thriller in which Bette plays twins (saying any more would result in spoilers).
