How many professions are represented on DARK SHADOWS? Which ones are represented more than others?
Is Collinsport white or blue collar? Did this varry in storylines?

I think Collinsport is very blue collar. Fishing the main industry.

Actually, I think Willie's accountant probably lists him as a House Restorer and Furniture Maker when he files his taxes.
Barnabas would have to call himself a Gem Merchant...isn't that how he supports himself, selling off the family jewels?
Roger could always claim he was Head of Quality Control for the local distillary.
And what about Maggie..if all she has are Sam's paintings to support her, I guess she has to be a Purveyor of Fine Art?
Then, I suppose, we really should call him Bob-The-Publican......?
Raineypark.....who will commit infanticide if she has to watch one more episode with her bored teenager at her elbow, making non-stop disparaging comments about Roger Davis' lack of talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it is mostly blue collar, but let's not forget about another variety of Collinsport bloodsucker: Lawyers! (Tony Petersen)
I'm only kidding!!! One of my very best college friends became a lawyer and I can't imagine him ever fitting that description. Just couldn't resist.
There are allusions to shopping in Collinsport, so I would also assume there must be a number of shopkeepers. And where would Julia get her sedatives but from some pharmacist or other?
And in 1795, we were introduced to a jailor/prison warden in Peter Bradford.

Do gypsy fortune tellers count?
There was also a silversmith and two artist/painters (Sam Evans, C.D. Tate)
