I'm sure a lot of people remember Eileen Lynch Farrar~she performed in many skits with the Collinsport Players.
Eileen now lives in a small, Upstate New York town. She's single, and the town she's in has no economy. She has not attended a Fest since 2004 due to her financial difficulties.
I talk to Eileen on the phone about twice a week~~she's had a rough go of it~~a very long stretch of unemployment.
She now has a part time job, which covers rent/food, but nothing else.
Her Direct TV service was shut off~~she can't pay it.
Her TV died~~she can't afford to repair or replace it.
Eileen is a good person who does not deserve her plight. At fests in the 80s & 90s she was one of the brightest lights.
I'm starting a fandom fundraising drive to pay her Direct TV bill so she can resume that service & to buy her a new TV~~I'm making the first donation with $50.00
Eileen should at least have some entertainment in her life.
