Hey it turns out my NYC hotel on West 54th(where I am this week) is one block from Grayson's old apartment building! Now I understand that the old studio is near here too, who has the exact address? I might stroll by while stopping at one of the 2,000,000,000 Starbucks in the neighborhood.

The studio was at 433 West 53rd-- between 9th and 10th Avenues. It's now Unitel Studios and used for the Montel Williams show. Have fun! I hope you can take a photo.

You are so lucky! As far as I'm concerned, you will be on sacred ground. When I was at the Fest last August, I so badly wanted to take a taxi over to the the old studio site and pay my respects but alas, it didn't work out.

I saw a picture of Grayson's house (not the apartment). It looked quite elegant. She must have stayed at the apartment during those time she needed to be at the studio.

I dropped by and took a photo or two which I'll send on later. .The building was smaller than I imagined given what all happened and happens in there. . .The glass doors are now solid metal/steel. Lovely breakfast place on the corner. But what a lovely little commute Grayson had. .3 whole blocks to work everyday! How ideal. . . wondered if she ever had problems with fans following her all the way home??
