1795--Because it's the first flashback. Nice performances, great clothes and it's over quicker.

Who would you prefer to have as an attorney: Desmond Collins or Evan Hanley?

Desmond Collins.  He might lose my case, but at least I could be reasonably certain that he wouldn't go summon Angelique to foul things up even further.

Which room would you be more interested in seeing: a bathroom at Collinwood or the kitchen at the Old House?

Well, if I was there, I would definitely be looking for a bathroom at some point.

Who would you rather have predict your future--Leticia Faye or Carrie Stokes PT 1841?

I'd choose Leticia.  There is no doubt that both Carrie and Leticia would prophesy doom and disaster for me, because that's what happens when you get your fortune told on Dark Shadows.  But Leticia, unlike Carrie, might give me a laugh or two in the process, and I think that Leticia, unlike Carrie, would try to help me to avoid the doom and disaster that she prophesied.  It wouldn't work, of course, but it's the thought that counts.

Is it better to watch one episode at a time or many episodes in a row?

One at a time, as that's the way that the show was meant to be seen.

Who do you feel is the more sinister housekeeper--Hoffman or Carlotta Drake?

Carlotta Drake.  Although (as I have previously noted) I've never seen Night of Dark Shadows, my understanding is that Carlotta is in reasonably direct touch with supernatural forces, whereas Hoffman merely has a friend who is.

Where would you prefer to be buried: in the basement of Collinwood or under the floor of the secret room of the mausoleum?

The basement of Collinwood. There seems to be less bad karma there.

Would you rather buy a painting by Sam Evans or Charles Delaware Tate?

Tate for sure. It might come to life or make me immortal, or at least would probably be worth more money than Sam's work.

Who's the sexier werewolf, Quentin or Chris?

I've always been partial to Chris, genuinely  nice, always trying to do the right thing. I think that David Selby is a fine actor wield genuine charisma but the character of Quentin is not.

Who do you think was the more predatory vampire--Roxanne or Angelique?/

Roxanne seemed much more feral. even as a vampire Angelique's decisions seemed calculated for additional gain...

Provided he gets automatic time-off for "that time of the month", no questions asked, then sane but occasionally cranky and furry Chris is the cxaretaker of choice.   Well, I'm not sure how much work Chris ever got done.   It's jard to imagine him doing all of Matthew Morgan's grunt work.   Wait, no, MM #1 couldn't have done all that much at his age, even though MM32 (Matthew the Next Generation) could.

Sometimes the job of caretaker seemed like a monumental physical job for one person, and sometimes it seemed more like an honorary thing:  more like going around and checking to see everything's locked up for the night etc..

Still, Chris.

The Eagle (RT), or the Blue Whale?

I would chose the Eagle, the Jute box at the Blue Whale had some lame music. Plus the Eagle had the great cane scene.

A portrait by Charles Delaware Tate or a Pact with the Devil that you will live forever.

I hope this hasn't been mentioned didn't read through the whole thread. I just felt like dropping by.

I would probably opt for the Charles Delaware Tate portrait. It seems like a better deal.

Who would be more fun to get drunk with: Sam Evans or parallel time Timothy Stokes?
