...he had snipped off Edward's mustache while he was sleeping, whereupon Edward assumed that Carl was the culprit and, in retaliation, locked up Carl's teddy bear in the Tower room with nothing but bread and water for three whole days!

...he dressed up as Mighty Monterey Jack and won first prize at Magda's Gala Halloween Party, narrowly defeating Reverend Trask, who was dressed up as the Tooth Fairy!

...he had beaten both the Collinwood Tower and the Old House staircase in a potato sack race!
