"Extra-Special, First Time Ever Surprise"

I am very excited about the announcement that was made in another thread on this board.  I'm sure everyone will be wondering what the surprise will be, and I look forward to reading everyone's speculative comments.

Personally, I suspect that the surprise will be an appearance by David Henesy, Dan Curtis, or Alexandra Moltke Isles.

There's no way on heaven or on earth that DC will ever come to one of these events. If there ever was, the Friday debacle with KLS certainly ruined that for good.

My bet is on Henesy. It makes sense. His mother was probably at this year's show to test the waters and depending on her experiences, will probably convince him to come.

Don't think it'll be Moltke. She's too worried about people asking her inappropriate questions about her relationship with Claus Von Bulow...and honestly, who could blame her.

We didn't discuss this possibility but not coming for the above reason makes complete sense. Still, it would be amazing if she were to make it somehow.  Maybe she could forego the Q&A sessions.

Whoever or whatever it is I'm looking forward to it and hope it pans out.  Guess we'll see!

What announcement was that, Claude?  I am intrigued.  Does this means there will be a special never-before-seen guest at the 2003 Fest in New York?  I do hope to make it next year!

What a pity that DC never comes to these Fests.  I still remember Gene Roddenberry's and Majel Barrett's appearance at a Trek Con many, many moons ago.  Still, it would be great to see Mr. Henesy or Ms. Moltke, too.

So where is the 2003 Fest going to be held?  There are hotels in New York City where you ALREADY can't get a room for next August!!.....how early do they usually announce?
