Jenny was delighted to announce to Beth that her babies had just passed a major milestone: and Beth would have to carry it out to the trash!   (I know the colon isn't appropriate in that sentence as written, and yet... it is!)

"they grew their first sideburns just like daddy..granted it may looks like magic marker"

"they've learned how to survive without a head"

"they've each said their first word & it's 'Squeak'"

"they've both become possessed, just like TRUE Collinses!"

I originally wrote it as "reached a major milestone".  I think I'm glad I'm changed it, but it's too soon to say for sure.
