Mary Cooper (PT Josette) has passed away at age 89. Her obituary in today's NY Times:

I'm sorry for being ignorant but.. I don't recognize her name. What was she on DS?

I doubt that the imagination can be suppressed. If you truly eradicated it in a child, he would grow up to be an eggplant.

She played Josette (nee DuPres) Collins in the PT1841 storyline. She was one of my favorite characters on the whole show.

What an impressive list of credits she had! May she rest in peace. What strikes me is, at 89, she was only a few years older than Jonathan Frid. So, when she played Bramwell's mother, it really was quite a stretch.

age is a relative thing in the entertainment industry.
I always noted that Barbara Bel Geddes was only 7 years older than Larry Hagman and yet she was playing his mother. . Miss Ellie on Dallas

Estelle Getty, who played Sophia, the mother of Dorothy, on
The Golden Girls
, was actually younger than Bea Arthur.
