If someone has a pic of this gentleman in his costume, maybe it can be posted here.
I saw some really nice looking costumes in Burbank.

I have a picture of you, borgosi, but unfortunately it's only a side view that doesn't show off your wonderful costume to the fullest effect.  I'll e-mail you a copy anyway.

Here is a smaller version of mine--- I will send the much larger one.   You should be able to have a good print made of it.

The last I knew, at literary SF cons and Doctor Who cons, you didn't see people walking around in costumes much anymore.  I think people were caving in to the "get a life" attitude.  How about DS cons, costumes all around, or just in the contest, or what?

Very few that I saw outside the costume contest and the banquet.

That's sad.  Don't dream it, be it.

Thanks a bunch rainingwolf.

I wear mine every chance I get and when it's not at a fest or other special event, I get some really strange looks. But that's half the fun.

You should see the faces when my wife and I go out and dress up just for fun.I was going to include a picture but I don't know how. Help! [ghost_angry]

You'd need to use graphics editing software that will crop and resize photos, i.e. Photoshop, or one of the available Freeware programs.

The last I knew, at literary SF cons and Doctor Who cons, you didn't see people walking around in costumes much anymore.

Magnus, you've never been to a Comic Con.   [ghost_wink]

You will be surprised to learn that most of those who work at the fest do not get compensated with free rooms or food. The ShadowGram editor pays for her own room and food at each fest, so does the roommate coordinator, the volunteer coordinator and most of the staff.   The volunteers and other fest people don't pay to get in. That's the one constant freebee. [ghost_tongue2]
