For History Buffs

Today's second episode originally aired on June 5, 1968.  What historical event also occured on this date?  Shouldn't be too difficult I suspect.

I remember when that happened.  People were walking around with signs taped to them saying:  "Pray for Bobby".  Before he died, he did regain occasional consciousness; I recall being outside somewhere and when I came into the house my mom told me:  "They said on the news that Bobby Kennedy smiled and talked."

I was 12 and remember thinking "no not again"
Very sad day and meeting his son years later remember thinking about what might have been!
