Barnabas was mildly agitated after Professor Stokes left, because he was afraid Stokes had seen the old but still much-beloved greeting card that said, in endearingly bad penmanship, "Happy Vampires Day to my favorite bloodsucker! Love, Benny" which he accidently left sitting in the drawing room!!
