My wife does a Julia impersonation and I think she's quite good at it.  Growing up, she and her brother   acted out parts from the show and she tells me they used to stick macaroni in their teeth to act as fangs.  I also play out scenes in my head (I do this with tv, film and also books I read when I want a scene or passage to go the way I want it to - I always have Julia taking up with Tom Jennings and telling Barnabas to push off)

Welllllll...

Does it count if everybody else refers to the structure in my backyard as the gazebo but I insist on calling it the gaZAbo?

LOL! Yes that counts!

When one friend had a new home under construction, the one she lived in until the other was completed became known as the Old House (of course!).

I always refer to my old house as "When I lived in the Old House." It was old, too. Unfortunately, my last name is too ugly to make a nice __Wood name for a house.

Sometimes I really feel like using some of Angelique's magic techniques on some of the folks I know! But then of course my whole catholic upbringing comes crashing into my mind and then Im like, "oh no, I can't do that!"  Lol!!  ;)

Don't bother. I've been trying those darned spells for years and they simply don't work. :(

Even now, I keep muttering, "A seance has been held in the great house at Collinwood."

So do I.

Hey, the ability to amuse one's self is priceless.

My kids think I get into DS too much some times.
My daughter tells me not everything relates to
DS. My son tells me I need a new hobby.

I've told far more Dark Shadows jokes than non-DS jokes ever since I started watching the show; not insults to the show, mind you, but random jokes, some of which are so stupid, juvenile, politically incorrect, or all three that I won't share them with you. In short, my warped sense of humor has been applied to the show in insane ways.

Did a large procession wave their torches as my head fell in the basket,
And was everybody dancing on the casket?
