TVShowsOnDVD.com is reporting that The Adams Chronicles, the 1976 PBS mini-series featuring Nancy Barrett and co-written by Sam Hall is coming to DVD! I've been wanting to see this again for decades and have been hoping PBS would run it again one day, but alas... So, the news that it's going to be released on DVD has made my day.  [santa_thumb]

Nancy Barrett plays Abigail Adams in this.
David Ford & Craig Slocum also in it.
I think there are others.

That's John Beal and Blair Brown on the cover art for the DVD.  Addison Powell is also in the cast.  Sam Hall was a writer and Robert Costello produced.  Alexandra has a non-speaking cameo.

William Shust appears as Patrick Henry; on DS he played David's shrink.

The book "Barnabas & Company" lists Louis Edmonds in the cast.

The DVD release of this miniseries may have something to do with perceived renewed interest in the subject matter. HBO is airing a 7-part miniseries on John Adams that will run from March 16 to April 20.
