Was something wrong (for over 2 weeks??)

Howdy...

I hadn't tried to access the boards much (kids home for summer).

So, within the past 2 weeks (late Aug), I would go on, get to the main screen (where there's the pic of Collinwood & it says "click here").

I would do this as usual, but then it would just be a blank, white page. The url at above would still say dsboards & on my address bar it has the bluish pic of Coll.

I tried at different times, etc, but no dice.

Thank God I had  :-* :-* dom's 'real' e-mail...I don't know if he helped.

Any suggestions in case something like this happens again?

I just left here, then tried to come back on.

It must've 'lingered' for almost a minute.

about 1pm (eastern) today again I couldn't get on. I waited more than 3 minutes; no error/time out, just white/blank page....

Do you use Internet Explorer (IE)?  I do and this happens to me frequently.

In general, this site doesn't work very well with that browser--very sludgy and clunky.  I blame it all on Bill Gates...

I wish I could offer some helpful advice but I'm kind of stumped wondering how, if you are unable to get on, you are able to post this at all? ???

I'm at a loss too.  The Forums have experienced slow times, but when I've seen a white screen it was accompanied by an error message.  Without knowing what you've got running, I can only suggest that you contact your provider to ask why you're experiencing very long lag times.  Sorry.
