Yes - I remember a lot of olive green too...including carpets, appliances, you name it!  Of course when I think about it, I don't find that any more puke-some than some of the blue/brown/cyan/orange combos I'm seeing in clothes, etc. this year.  Throw in some cheesy flower prints and my stomach starts to churn.
