Can you identify those peculiarities of temperament that are outstanding in some of the characters on DS? Does it make you like or dislike the individual? Please explain.

You mean like Blondie here's bipolar mood swings? Oh, she grows out of them to an extent, but she remains rather moody. I loved the beginning of the show, she was quite the rollercoaster.

Coming up is a scene in the garden with Tony and Carolyn in which she gives one of the best insightful soliloquys in the show...IMHO.  One of my faves. ;D

As far as idiosyncrasies go.....Roger Davis touching his hair is probably #1 on my list...and a few other folk's lists as well![silly]

Let's see. . .

1.  Roger and Quentin's constant need for drinks or is that alcoholism?

2.  Julia Hoffman's stammering (I do't think Grayson's other characters did that) in an attempt to avoid something (most often, honesty. . she isn't used to lying at first but never seems too comfortable with it). .

3.  Vickie's ability to remain oblivious after everything. . .???

I don't know if these are what you meant.???

I really wish Barnabas would start using some sense when it comes to Angelque/Cassandra.  No sooner does he meet her alone at the old house, does he start blabbering to her about how he knows she is  REALLY ANGELIQUE!!  AND  "she won't win this time!!"
Now I know he has alot of anger & resentment towards her,  but he made the same exact mistake with her in the past, when he found out she was a witch.  I just wish he would play it cool with her for awhile.  Doing what he does only makes her more angry and determine to cause him more suffereing.

LMAOWTIMES!!!! That's hilaaaarious! I loved Carolyn in the beg too! She was so unpredictable! And now she's just like.....ugh, vampire slave. Or ex-vampire slave. Although in Fri's ep she was pretty witchy 2 Tony, which I thought was hysterical. "This is Tony Peterson, sometimes a lawyer and almost never a gentleman." And then, "I'm not in." "COME DOWN HERE NOW!" "I do *NOT* like being ordered around!!"

eeeeeee *sits back and laughs for an hour* She's so funny!

Barnabas is supposed to be very passionate and rash.  It's one of the things that is either most endearing about him or most annoying.  He rarely thinks before he speaks or acts, and sometimes reminds me of a little kid in his impatience and desire to "let it all hang out", as we used to say in the 60's.  The man was often a basket case and needed some tempering, which is what Willie and Julia were for.

I still adored him!

Love, Robin
