I've never been in group therapy. But if I ever was to be, my front probably wouldn't last for two minutes. 

But getting back to the board, I have to say I'm liking the replies in this topic. In other topics, especially given some of the set ups I've presented, people have sometimes been way, Way, WAY TOO TIMID, if not outright boring. (Sorry, but it's true.) But people are definitely getting into this set up. And, after all, one of the main points of this board is to post "suggestive" captions - so keep up the good work - well, while remaining "tastefully depraved," of course.

I imagine we'll all get back to the usual caption rules soon, so I won't worry about posting this...

I considered it something I couldn't dare say, and why create a problem for nice people who are just trying to have fun?... but it's too bad so many responses are so mild--- but I may go into a milder phase when I get sick of what I'm doing.    Anyway, besides the very tame captions, it can be frustrating when people do exactly what the set-up expects.    Humor needs to be surprising.    If I see a set-up from MB where the blank just screams out to be filled with, say, "prostitute", the last thing I want to do is to type "prostitute".   I'd rather go with total nonsense and say "aluminum foil", that that.

Now I probably sound all superior-minded.  Sorry.   Also, I want people not to get self-conscious and have difficulty having fun here because they think they're being "judged".    And I like for people not to hate me.     Hard to pull off when you're as socially inept as I am.

Humor needs to be surprising.    If I see a set-up from MB where the blank just screams out to be filled with, say, "prostitute", the last thing I want to do is to type "prostitute".   I'd rather go with total nonsense and say "aluminum foil", that that.

And how often have I complimented you on posting something completely off the wall, but at the same time hysterically funny and something I never saw coming? I mean, more than two years later I still think back to this caption:

And on a serious note: I didn't mean in any way to belittle peoples' captions (timid and, yes, even boring can still be funny  ) - only to encourage more people to let their hair down more often and go for it. After all, even the less than obvious answer doesn't have to be any less suggestive.
