Reunion of DS Friends

This past weekend I ventured east of the Windy City to the Wash. D.C. area and got together with fellow board members: Gooie-Guy Haines and Allen Collins-Byron. Also joining us were BuzzH-Mary, Byron's lovely wife Linda, and their beautiful daughter Olivia, who will be 3 years old this August. By the way, Olivia's middle name is Corey. :)
 We had dinner at a Friday's located between Wash DC and Baltimore and caught up on what has been going on in our lives these past few years. It really was great to see everyone, as it had been 2 1/2 years since I had seen Guy, 3 1/2 years since I had seen Mary, and 5 1/2 years since I'd last seen Byron and Linda. Time really does fly by. Below are some photos of that reunion taken by my friend Mary. Clockwise: Bob, Guy, Linda, Byron, and Byron and Linda's beautiful daughter Olivia.

How nice Bob! Looks like you had a fun DS Reunion. After not seeing each other for that many years, I bet there was a lot to catch up on. Thanks for sharing the photos, always nice to see what people look like, so if I see them at the Dark Shadows Festival, I will know who they are. The little girl Olivia looks so cute. I adore my little girl Stephanie, who will be 6 in August. If you read this Linda, I hope you have a Happy Mother's Day!

Thanks for posting these, Bob.  It's nice to see that Guy is looking so well.  I haven't seen him myself in about 2 years.

And it was nice to put a face to the name for Byron and his lovely family.

Guy will be sorely missed next month. :'(

The other nite I saw a clip from "Emergency" and couldn't help but think of BuzzH!  Please give Mary my best the next time you talk to her, Bob.

I can't even think of how long it has been since I have seen Mary, was it LI in 98?  And have I seen Guy since then?  Seems like I have, but am not sure just when.  Too long, anyway :(.  Was supposed to hook up with Guy when he was in Portland awhile back, but was digesting the C word and not able to drag myself out the door.

You last saw Guy at the 1999 NY Fest, and the extended trip up to Seaview afterwards. He hasn't been to a DS related event since. Frid's show in Nov. 1998 was indeed the last time Mary attended an event. Time doesn't just fly by as we get older, it approaches warp speed.  :)
 Since Mary was the photographer for all the pix above, for those of you who remember her, below are a couple photos of her and I taken last weekend.

Oh bunny ears of course ;) I too enjoy are traditional fest hug dear. Can you believe L.A.  will mark our 6th annual? I'm telling ya, time is flyin faster then the  Millennium Falcon in hyperdrive. ;) A plug for
Episode II which is now only a week away!! YEAH ;D

How nice it must have been to get together with friends that you haven't seen is awhile! Glad you had a nice time Bob. Thank you for sharing these wonderful photo's with us. :)
