Today's Montage Pic
« on: April 10, 2007, 05:38:21 PM »
I simply love the picture of Barnabas with Dr. Lang in today's montage!!!

(I believe it's because we never see Barn in 'daylight'.)

Thanks MB!

That is one scene that I remember, Barnabas is so over joyed. I remember I thought it was almost child like in the sense that I was discoveriing something that he had lost. Which he had lost many years ago. But we did see Barnabas in the daylight back in 1795 I still remember that scene with Vickie and Barnabas when they first meet.

It was a touching and moving scene watching an ecstatic Barnabas seeing the sunlight for the first time in 200 years. I bet he had given up hope of ever seeing the daylight again especially after
the disasterous results of Julia's experiments  which had made him age to his true years.
Here's the capture in question so people will still understand what's being discussed:

1968: Ep #467 - Barnabas is thrilled that 'for now' he can live as 'any other man.'

Dr Lang only had one saving grace. He helped Barnabas see the light, pun intended. Otherwise he would have been gone really fast. I am surprised that he lasted so long, Lang.

Good thing Barnabas lived in Collinsport, Maine versus Los Angeles, California... imagine seeing sunlight for the first time in nearly 200 years... only to have it obscured by dense smog!

Looks to me like he's certainly aiming a bit lower.  ;)  But here's that capture so everyone can still judge:

1969: Ep #729 - Quentin will stop looking for Jenny on one condition.
