Anytime a fandom of any sort loses a fan, it is a sad time, whether or not you were personally close with that person. This saddness is not lost on me. I will keep the both of you in my thoughts.

Gerard, I wish to echo statements expressed and posted here. We share the loss of our fellow fan, but mostly we mourn with you on the loss of a dear friend. My heart goes out to you. May you long cherish your memories.
Michael

My Sympathies go out to the family of Michael, and to you, for losing your friend.  It is always sad when someone passes, especially so young like that.  I lost my best friend from high school in January, she was only 49, and I will never get over losing her so early in our lives.   I didn't know Michael, but recognized him from the pictures. I had seen him at festivals.  Our Dark Shadows family is like an extended family, to many, losing Craig Hamrick was hard for me, and losing my friend Anna from England in 2003, was hard also.  I will always think of them at each upcoming festival.  They are surely missed.  Hope they can see us from heaven missing them!  Sorry this is so late,  Rick
