Eating chocolate, and having sex.

Isn't that what everybody does?...... ;)

I actually see Barnabas gorging himself on someone's blood-soaked heart.  ^-^  (Though we actually never see Barn as a vampire on Valentine's Day. The closest we came was his unconscious body in his coffin in Ep #428. In the other storylines there either wasn't an episode on Valentine's Day or he wasn't a vampire - which was probably just as well because all that gorging would have been very messy to watch. [wink2])

I guess that's why it's called Happy Valentine's day.

Well, only if you're someone who's eating chocolate and having sex - or is that having chocolate and eating sex? I suppose it works either way.  >:D

Most likely Julia would send herself some roses and pretend that Barnabas had done it.

And Burke or Jeff or some other man would give flowers and chocolate to Vicki and she'd say "I don't understand," which would launch an entire storyline.

I hear pens, music boxes and moon poppies make excellent Valentine's gifts.  I think Willie gave Liz a diamond brooch once (oh, wait a minute, that was hers!)

So what other gifts have been given to characters, not necessarily Valentine's related.

Lessee.... David gave Burke a bleeder valve from Roger's car, and Burke gave David a Crystal Ball

I heard that Amanda Harris gave something to quite a few men.  ;D

i'm getting to this topic a bit late however...

considering how things usually turned out in the romance department a valentine in collinsport might as well have read "happy valentine's day...i love you...and goodbye" because you can bet that one of the parties involved will soon be kidnapped, killed, cursed, hanged, burned, burried alive, sent back in time, tossed off widow's hill, packed off to wyndcliff, fall for every miniskirted s.y.t. besides you or some similar calamity.

these things just did not go well for our friends. ::)

[laughing4]  But did she also give them the syringe for the mercury injections? [shockeyes]

and secretly, Julia, dressed ala Dr. Frank n' furter, would be in her room singing to her karioke machine, My Funny Valentine, with viky gorging on the chocolates, still trying to understand.
