Jennifer, I've always envied and admired your Don avatar - any idea what episode the capture is from? He's smiling as if Julia's just announced she found a cure for the werewolf curse.

If you're going backward in time, jennifer, then that means you're reading this three days before your birthday, in which case I got the drop on everyone here, and managed to retroactively wish you happy birthday before anyone else... except of course for whoever posts after me, here.

That makes sense unless Stephen Hawking comes along and says that it doesn't.

With you going backward and me still going forward (sucker that I am), it sounds as if we're about to meet and be the same age in about three months or so. Looking forward to temporally bumping heads with you.

Hi Midnite, It is Leviathan period and if it is the one I am thinking of, it was just up on the slide show; it looks like a shot from the episode where the Leviathan box is delivered to Julia and Chris' arrival helps keep her from opening it.

Another possibility is the episode where Sabrina gets her dye job; he smiled really brilliantly in his scene with her.

I am 99 percent sure he never wore that coat in any of the '68-'69 shows--it turned up during Leviathan.

Not that I'm obsessed with Briscoe or anything... *snrk*

Thanks, Steve! Believe it or not, I was thinking too that in the somewhat happier time after his arrival he wore sport coats and and heavy shirts. He looked great in the earth tones and blues.
