The '91 DS series' Joseph Gordon-Levitt's film Brick was named one of the year's best by tvguide.com's film critics:

I have a student writing about Brick for an assignment, so I had to watch it last night. The only DS connection I was aware of was the casting of JG-L, but there's more, and I don't think anyone has mentioned it on the forum.

The Pin, portrayed by Lukas Haas, dresses like Barnabas Collins. Check out the two photos of him in this gallery on the About.com site.
