and

Jimmy Fallon= David Collins

I'd love to see a take on DS directed by Tim Burton.

For what it's worth, only the original 70s cast were the "Not Ready for Prime Time Players" (called that because ABCs simultaneous "Saturday Night Live" had the "Prime Time Players").    So any other comedians are fair game, if you want to include later SNL casts.    SCTV and Kids in the Hall, or Python??

Actually Tim Burton directing DS would be a fantastic idea....he certainly has a flair for directing and producing weird, ultra-dark but fascinating movies.

Haven't we agreed, in some past thread, that the Holy Grail of DS re-makes involves Tim Burton and Johnny Depp?.....(if Depp ever decides to give up his  Keith Richards imitation act?)

I actually thought Depp could make a cool Barnabas....question is who would make a cool Quentin? I have been racking my brain and haven't come up with anyone.

That would certainly be my Holy Grail DS-remake. He's the only actor that I would want to play Barnabas on the big screen. But if he wants to continue as Captain Jack Sparrow for a little bit longer, I won't complain, since I adore Pirates. 8)
