How soon should someone going to the DS festival in June buy their plane tickets?  Do you think prices will go up, or down, between then and now?

I already bought my plane tickets. I think you should do it now. When I called the airlines, the preferred time slots I wanted were all taken. I had to get later flights than I would have liked. The plus is I will be going to John Wayne/Orange County instead of LAX. I only have to arrive there one hour early on the way home. I don't know about the prices changing between now and then. I don't see why they would.

I agree. I bought my tix back in December when I found out the dates.  I made reservations as soon as I got the code for the festival rates, around the end of February. So I say book now. rates won't go down the closer you get. Shop the net.

I bought my tickets about 6 weeks ago. The day after I bought them the ticket went up $80. I paid more than I wanted to but I got a direct flight.

O.K., thanks everyone.

The ticket I found is a lot more than I paid to go to NY last year, but I may have to make a decision on it, if I'm going to go this year.

After printing out the info, I noticed that the flight is on an Airbus.  I asked someone at work what that was, and he said that was what had crashed in NYC last fall.  So know I'm nervous about taking that.  It just took a gust of wind and that plane broke apart.  Although the guy said he had just taken one to Spain last month.
