Thanks!  I wonder if attendance went up at PTA meetings...

From the article, "Like Angelique, the show refused to die."  That IS so true!!!  It's one of these love/hate ideas:  love to hate Angelique for what she does to others and love the actress for what she did with the character!  WTG Lara Parker.

Thanks for posting that link Midnite!  ;)

I love this line from the article:

"For the next four years, Barnabas and Angelique traveled through the centuries, tormenting each other in daytime TV's first co-dependent love/hate relationship."

SO true!  ;)
Buzz-isms:

"I know just the place!?Over in Logansport!"
"If ya feel it, SIT it!"
"Come on, before he offers me a side car too!"
"Her nose needed some powder!"
"You askin' me to give up something I like?"

Thanks, everyone.

Over the weekend I'll post a report on how Lara's signing went.
Hopefully with my story & the piece in the SF Chronicle she'll get a good crowd.
Showbiz is all about publicity.

My review (rave of course) of RJ's Grayson book will appear in a week or two
(he said proudly)

I LOVE writing about DS!

Lara had around 100 people here in SF last night.
It was a lively crowd, she & the audience had fun.

She said she had been hired to teach Creative Writing
at Santa Monia City College, and had more books in the pipeline, a DS book & a non-DS contemporary vampire novel.

It was a terrific night!

Hooray for Lara!  New worlds are definitely opening up for her!  Hollywood's loss is academia's gain.  Now if only John Karlen taught acting.....
