The writers went a little overboard in their evocation of The Devil and Daniel Webster. Didn't Trask say something like "We are all members of the Damned"? Yes indeed, it's there in the ever-useful Robservations: Trask says "like all the rest of us in this court, he is one of the damned". And you can be sure that Trask never thought he was one of the damned - quite the contrary! Never mind, I love that so-called trial anyway. Trask is a consistent character: before death or after, there's nothing he likes better than rigging a trial.
I'm sure that Maude Browning wasn't played by the original actress - Vala Clifton, if I remember correctly - and I'm pretty sure that Ruby Tate wasn't either, but I'm not so sure about Suki Forbes. She had the right look about her, but we didn't get a close enough look for me to tell.
Why oh why did Maggie go off to Bangor for several days when her father was newly blind? And apparently Joe had been leaving Sam pretty much to his own devices as well. I know Sam hates being babysat, but surely somebody could have checked in on him more often.
Gosh, Robert Rodan's good at what he does.
