Frank my friend, I was unable to hear the show but I did read the book. It was fantastic as I knew it would be. My wife loved it too. I do recommend it to everybody.

Oh how I wish I could go. It all sounds like great fun. Meeting Jonathan Frid must be worth the price of admission by itself. I've gotten depressed reading about everyone who's going. [ghost_sad]

I agree that the opening monologues are an underrated but very important part of the show. They set the tone nicely for what previously happened and what is about to happen.

I too liked the DS remake, flaws and all. I watched it at the time in 1991 but not since. I heard there was a pilot made for the 2004 version but I've never seen it. Is it on DVD?

I am also very interested inthis topic. Time travel is fascinating. I checked the website and the cover of this book is gorgeous. Einstein and Dark Shadows characters! Great job Prof Stokes. If I cannot make the festival I wonder if ProfStokes will please autograph it before I receive it. That would be great. Can't wait to read it. __Master Tad Collins.

Hello,
First I would like to say hello to everyone on this site. It looks like I'm the newest member. I was introduced to this site by my co-worker, we now both use the last name Collins. (Not our real name - what a surprise  [ghost_embarrassed]) I've been reading the posts for awhile and lt's been fun. I thought I'd intoduce myself and start posting.
I ask one favor, please don't tell our boss that we do this on company time  [ghost_wink].
The topics here are very interesting. Unlike my co-worker I've never been to a festival. Maybe this year. There is much I'd like to comment on, but I guess I'll start here and say I first saw HODS in my living room on the Turner Classic channel and I've never seen NODS. Is it ever on TV?
Anyway, I'll be responding to other posts. It's nice to be here.
