Kinda a haunting melody don't you think? ;)

Haunting?..no..I was thinking more along the lines of background music you would hear in a scene with someone who is suffering with a bad toothache :P

I can think of 3 offhand..Maggie,Joe & Roger.Maggie had a job ..Joe had a job...Roger always acted busy at his job  ;) and there were not really alot of secrets for Maggie and Joe,although Roger had one (accusing Burke Devlin of drunk driving) ..Other than that, who am I to say that watching over a vampire (like Julia does for Barn) isn't ordinary?... :P
These days..it's kinda hard to tell what's ordinary  :-/

Current Talk '02 II / Julia's Hands & other habits
« on: August 03, 2002, 04:56:32 PM »
My 14 year old daughter watches Dark Shadows with me sometimes and the other day she suddenly got up and walked out of the room and made the remark"I can't take anymore of  watching Julia wring her hands"....I never realized she did this  ?!?
I have noticed lara parker's lips moving sometimes when she's not saying anything..and Kate Jackson's eyes never stop moving when she's talking someone..and Roger Davis trying to keep a straight face without busting out laughing during most of his scene's..and carolyn (ever so gently) placing her long hair behind her shoulders...are there anymore habits others have that I didn't notice? I'm not nit picking..I just thought it was kinda interesting the habits of some of the actors  :)

Well, music has changed quite a bit since the Blue Whale era, but I have to admit that at the time, they were pretty "hip"  :D.  Everytime I hear them, I picture Carolyn dancing...

MrsJ.

Mrs J..^5~! :D

I didn't particularly like him in the 1795 flashback as peter bradford, but now as jeff clark he is horrible.  He always seems to be irascible and moody, and is seldom friendly to anyone on the show. Actually i am holding back - i can't stand watching him!  LMAO.  I can't wait till he is off the show.

In the looks department i guess he is ok looking if you are into the nordic look.  Is he supposed to be sexy on the show? LOL -  cuz i am just not seeing that working for me at all.  I think Nicolas Blair or Prof Stokes have a better chance at that - lmao!.!! ;D

Absolutely stole the words right outta my mouth~! :o

I never had a problem with any of the music on DS cept for the music the music they play at the beginning of each episode..it just annoys me. Like Daphne, I like the Blue Whale songs lol and never get tired of them. I always keep one of my DS tapes with the little Dark Shadows: Behind the Scenes commercial at the end unrewinded since it plays "Back to the Blue Whale" so I can just listen to it at any time  ;) The Playroom theme and Josette's Theme never got tiresome to me.

Hiya Vicki~ just shows how different all our tastes are  ;)
I really really liked hearing the musicbox jam when it first started (the older one) but by the time they decided to let Josette tell Barnabas to go on with his life and even return his ring to him..I had HAD it with that derned tune  ?!?

But Bob Cobert DIDN'T write the Jeo-party music!! [he did do the theme for the Pyramid, ya know!?!?  sometimes my left field bleacher curve balls bounce off unprotected heads [crazd] -  always have yer helmet handy! ;) ]

We watch Alex T every night ~ an occasional DS related question pops up every now and then, and the Beatles are regulars ~  the wifey hates the 'before and after' ~ [but who needs the 'clue crew'???] ~ and I love the jep theme, esp. the tympani notes at the end! ::) ::)

:P Ringo...you are correct sir ...(helmet's on) :)

Which Angelique theme are you referencing? Is it the 1970PT ODE TO ANGELIQUE or just the music they use when she is up to her tricks?

The one I'm talking about is the one lazlo ferrari wrote for her..(the one his character was playing on the piano) So I guess it's the parallel time one  :-/
