I don't want much to go with me.  I am going to be cremated and have my ashes spread out over the water.  Maybe take a heart locket with me that my loving husband gave me on our 1st wedding anniversary.  Most of my material posistions will be going to my son to do with what he wishes.

This isn't out of context too far ..........I don't think .....

I once knew about a girl in school back in Jr. High who had a black and white cat called Barnabas after the DS charactor of the same name.

Speaking of Beatle's memorbilia ..........I still have my Beatles mug, a gold plated Beatles medallion, a Beatles traveling case.  I had the 4 dolls too but dumb me I gave em up a long time ago!!  I don't watch em too much now but I have their movies on tape.  I had Beatle boots too.  My mom thought I was crazy going around in them.
I remember when the rumor came out that Paul was dead, I was heart broken.  I cried for days til I found out it was just a hoax!

Sir Paul still looks good after all these years!  Paul Forever as I used to say when I was a kid, now I'm just a kid at heart.   ;)

Those recordings bring back my visits to the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland.  The Haunted House is one of my 3 favorite rides there including the Pirates of the Caribbean and Its A Small, Small World."  I can ride those 3 over and over again.  Will try Splash Mountain this time.  When we were down there last, the lines were so long we gave up trying to get in.

I've been in the HM too and have it break down.  Always by the gravestone where the skeleton pops up ....and so close to you too .........ewwwwwwwww

Mind you, I have not been down to Disneyland since they added the Californa Adventure.  The last time I was down there, they were just beginning stages to clear the land to build it.

We're planning a trip down there around Christmas time this year.  :)

When I saw the scene of Timmy and Julian walking away into the night with the Dark Shadows theme playing, it reminded me of Episode 1 of Dark Shadows. When Victoria Winters did her voiceover.I think that the music was played in that particular time because Timmy and Julian are beginning a long journey. To where?...I have no idea.Who knows where Passions is going to go with this storyline and the Dark Shadows music.BUT, and I mean a big BUT, if they are going to use the Dark Shadows themes and music then they need to try to be more serious with their supernatural stuff...like Dark Shadows was!

Adra ;D

I agree with you totally about being more serious about their supernatural stuff.

Point well made   :)

My eyes are on Timmy and Julian .....Toto too, he's cute.

That storyline with Tabitha and Cherity is getting old now ....wish they would move on with it.

That reminds me, anyone know if Passions has their own forum online?

Jennifer, I was wondering the same thing when I watched the news this morning.

LUCKY RINGO IF HE WAS THERE!!

I'm a big Paul McCartney fan!!  I go way back from day one.  I've had a crush on him for all those years.  I have even seen him in person twice.  Once with the Beatles in 1966 and again with Wings.  :-*

My husband is a BIG Beatles fan too.  We have a lot in common there.  Between the two of us, we have almost all their music.  Never get tired of hearing it.  That includes JOhn and George's solo albums too.

I was even Paul for Halloween one year ....when I was 11 or so.  In the 5th grade 3 of my friends and myself named one another after our favorite Beatle, I was Paul of course.    :)

For Christmas my husband won the Beatles Anthology book on one of our local radio stations.  He gave it to me for Christmas.

I know I've been jealous of "our" Ringo for traveling around seein Paul in concert.  I would of gone too if he would of come to Seattle.

Can't boo too loud, the one thing they have going is good prices.  Can't say much for their Customer service here at our store though.  Talking from up close and personal experience.

I'm not really a Passions fan either but I watch it off and on when I'm not doing much.

I've noticed the DS theme being played too in the background.  The first time I heard it, it brought back memories ....of watching DS the first time around 1966-1971.

The charactor "Norma" on Passions exscaped from a nut house and is after the witch, Tabitha and the doll turned into a little boy, "Timmy."  This is only one of the story lines on there that is being dragged out too far.

If the producers took notes from DS, they might be able to come up with a good soap.  They have a "witch" a "demon" to start out with, a few magic spells here and there.

Nothing though, could ever take the place of DS and the actors that made it so popular.

As far as I know, I'm the only who watches it in the area I'm living in.  Then again, they would have to have Broadband to view Sci-Fi. I primarily watch it alone but now and then my 12 year old son will watch with me just as he's getting ready for school.

My Border Collie, Brittany Lynn, could be counted in I guess.  She's usually stretched out on the floor while DS is on.  She reacts to various sounds that may go on around on certain DS episodes.

When I was younger, my mom watched it with me.  That was during the 1966-1971 series run.

I enjoyed reading the article on Dan Curtis and reading what he said to Barnabas about quitting the show.

Lets see now, when DS originally aired back in 1966 and ran til 1971, I watched it with my mother.  Don't remember anyone else watching it.

Now, I watch it and sometimes my 12 year old son comes out and watches it with me while he's dressing for school.

My husband watched it when he was younger and would now too if he were home during the time it airs.  Oddly enough, he remembers Angelique, Barnabas and Quentin.

Now and then I will put in my tape of House of Dark Shadows and we'll watch it together.  Only when I feel a DS fix coming on .......... LOL

Only to satisfy those cravings til I get around to ordering the DS CD sets.  Maybe an early birthday gift to myself .........  ;)

Gee, I didn't mean to open up a can of worms here

I am not a regular watcher of Passions either.  I turn it on now and then, whenever I am home.  I usually just have the TV on for noise when I'm home alone.

In no way does it resemble DS to me.  I find it slow and a little boring.  Just happened to catch that one scene Friday.

I'm not a soap watcher either.  Not anymore at least.  I got out of the habit when I was going to college.  Didn't have the time to watch the tapes I would record.  I watched all the soaps on the AbC network at the time.  At least 3 of them, General Hospital, One Life To Live and All My Children.

Am going to check out Port Charles though after reading some of the posts here.

Am I the only one here who watches the soap, Passions?

During one of the scenes Friday,  a little bit of the opening of DS was played in the background.  Pretty neat huh?

I am not hooked on this soap, MUCH!  hahahaha

A DS Forums fan got me hooked, have him to blame ...hahahahaha  NOT!
