CastleBee,

I did not know that the DS calendars will not be available for 2017.  I wonder if there will be a DS Festival for 2017 as well?

Wasn't there some speculation that there might not be anymore DS Festivals in the future?

Uncle Roger,

I think that Robert Vaughn was the last surviving cast member from "The Magnificent Seven."

In his autobiography, Mr. Vaughn wrote about one of his early film roles in a low-budget sci-fi flick, dealing with cave men and the aftermath of a nuclear war.  Needless to say, he enjoyed being in "The Magnificent Seven" much more than that schlocky 1950s sci-fi film.

Uncle Roger,

Yes, the 1840 storyline is not the best DS storyline.  Yet, it's still like Shakespeare in comparison to the PT 1841 storyline, imo.

I believe that the late, great Bela Lugosi portrayed the Frankenstein monster in this film.

And, it was cool to see Dennis Hoey from the Sherlock Holmes films in this film as a police detective. [Evil_Pumpkins]

Thayer David appeared in an episode of TWWW; he portrayed an evil scientist/conquistador.

I saw Patrick MacNee in the play, "Sleuth." Mr. MacNee was superb in the production.

Had impure thoughts about Eileen Heckart

Eileen Heckart, Murphy Brown's mom!!! [ghost_shocked] [ghost_grin] About a million years ago, I saw Ms. Heckart on Broadway in a play with Arthur Kennedy. Both actors were superb in "Veronica's Room, which was written by Ira Levin.

Yes, I agree, Tom Jennings was very scary as a vampire.  Thankfully, Tom wasn't as nearly "prolific" as a member of the "living dead" as were Angelique, Dirk Wilkins, and Mr. B. [ghost_wink] [ghost_grin]
