Oh, the look on their respective faces when they saw each other, although supposedly they’ve known about Angelique all along, so Nicholas knew he was going to be introduced to her before he even showed up at the Rumson home.

I don't think Nicholas knew it was Angelique until he saw her.  Sky had talked of his wife, but there was no identification.  And he wanted her to join them, and Nicholas said that sometimes he could tell by looking at a person whether they could or not.  I'm sure he didn't know who it was at that point, and the look on his face, too, would indicate that he was just finding out.

Murphy's Law of Videorecording: the one time you don't record a daily show will be one of the few times when they show the best episodes of all.   

That's what I mentioned the other day when I alerted everyone to this episode.  The last time through the series (or perhaps the time before), somehow I missed taping this one.  I was so mad, as I knew it had those incredible scenes, one after the other.  I decided I just couldn't miss that and went back to the video store where I had orignally rented the whole series and got this one again.

I always forget just how things progress and expect them either too soon or I'm surprised that they happen long before I think they will!  All week I've been anticipating my "blockbuster" episode, but now I think it's the one coming up next - Tuesday.

The last time around (or one before that), I somehow missed taping it.  I just hated to miss all of those marvelous scenes, so I rented it again.

There's a great Barnabas - Angelique scene.  Now that Nicholas has arrived, it won't be a spoiler to indicate that he's involved in the next part.  And then there are consequences that develop from all of the previously mentioned developments.  (Even with the new SPOILER box, I don't want to get more specific than this - but if you haven't seen this part before, you're in for a treat!)

It's really one incredible scene after another.  While I dislike Leviathan as a whole, it does have these spectacular moments.

I suddenly noticed the "last post" listings for each topic and they are WAY OFF.  In the Announcements category it lists a post by me from back in February!!  When I actually go into the forum, all of the current items are there.

Several of the other categories list some posts from May 14 as the last ones.

I have no idea when this occurred.  I think it was working fine when I arrived.  I tried to refresh the board and got knocked off.  Every time I tried to get back in I got to a page that said:

Obviously, I did finally get back, but I notice that those times are still incorrect.


P.S. to MB - I don't know if you noticed that I added another funny item to my computer question thread.

I find it endlessly amusing that she left for the airport at nite to meet hubby in a storm, then returned in the morning sporting a new and complicated hairdo and wearing a pink dress instead of black.  No attempt at continuity whatsover.

I meant to post last night to alert newbies to pay attention to what she wore yesterday and her hairdo.  One of the little things I was especially awaiting!!

UNIX Airways
Everyone brings one piece of the plane along when they come to the airport. They all go out on the runway and put the plane together piece by piece, arguing non-stop about what kind of plane they are supposed to be building.

Air DOS
Everybody pushes the airplane until it glides, then they jump on and let the plane coast until it hits the ground again. Then they push again, jump on again, and so on ...

Mac Airlines
All the stewards, captains, baggage handlers, and ticket agents look and act exactly the same. Every time you ask questions about details, you are gently but firmly told that you don't need to know, don't want to know, and everything will be done for you without your ever having to know, so just shut up.

Windows Air
The terminal is pretty and colorful, with friendly stewards, easy baggage check and boarding, and a smooth take-off. After about 10 minutes in the air, the plane explodes with no warning whatsoever.

Windows NT Air
Just like Windows Air, but costs more, uses much bigger planes, and takes out all the other aircraft within a 40-mile radius when it explodes.

Linux Air
Disgruntled employees of all the other OS airlines decide to start their own airline. They build the planes, ticket counters, and pave the runways themselves. They charge a small fee to cover the cost of printing the ticket, but you can also download and print the ticket yourself. When you board the plane, you are given a seat, four bolts, a wrench and a copy of the Seat-HOWTO.html. Once settled, the fully adjustable seat is very comfortable, the plane leaves and arrives on time without a single problem, the in-flight meal is wonderful. You try to tell customers of the other airlines about the great trip, but all they can say is, "You had to do what with the seat?"
