Was it always that way or is this since the new setup?

Maybe there was a problem with the site.  It worked fine just now!  :)

This raised my curiosity and I had to check!!  The profile clearly lists 17 posts, but if one brings up the posts, there are actually 22 of them!  That really seems weird.

The link didn't work for me.

I'm not sure one CAN tell definitely.  For one thing, I don't remember if we ever learned his age in 1795-6.  Then, there's the fact that they keep changing that time period from 1795 to 1796 to 1797!!!  I'll guess he was 10 and so he would be 54 or 55 in 1840, despite the fact that they made him seem much older.

Thank you for the answers - I was trying to make a connection between Julia and Jamison!!  :)

Took me a couple of minutes to figure this thread out.  LOL

I guess I still haven't figured it out!

What is the google toolbar?  I've heard of it, but never looked into it.

Also, I've heard of searching "google groups" which I assume is different than just searching google.

Glad it helped - I almost didn't bother posting a reply!!

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't remember if the one item had a "new" on it or not.  The board showed the new indicator and the last post was listed, so I assumed that  that was the new item, but when I went there, it was more than a week old.  So, at this point, I don't recall if there actually was a "new" tag or if I was just assuming it was that last post.

That archive board was just created today and those posts were moved to it. As I've mentioned before:

So, those posts there should have had "new" tags.  :)  And there are still several more posts that will be moved to both Current Talk X and the newly created (over the weekend) Calendar Events / Announcements '04 I.  ;)

That make sense, except I would then expect all the posts to say new and only the last one did.

The occasional "new" on an old listing is still continuing.  Yesterday there was a post by Midnite listed as new but I had read it the previous time.

Today the Current Talk X board indicated a new item, but when I checked, the most recent item was from more than a week ago.

How about that?!!!  :) :) :)  Given how many shows there are and how long ago this was, it's amazing that they chose that.
