Thayer David comes on camera during the closing credits of an episode that should be among those screened this week (unless, of course, Sci Fi decides to run a LEXX chain reaction in place of DS--lol!).
And, appropriately enough, it is the set of Prof Stokes' living room that he walks onto.

Donna, a suggestion. Maybe you should tape the show in the mornings and invite your husband to watch it with you (at least occasionally) in the evenings? Bet he'd enjoy it from what you've said!
I'm surprised how many say that they were the only ones who watched the show when it originally aired in the 60s/70s. I didn't know a single kid who didn't watch it when I was growing up!

i believe the closing shot during the last episode was the foyer room of collinwood. my favorite closing credits was also the foyer room but during early 1897 when JONATHAN FRID walked by carrying his wordrobe! its one of the few moments i remember from the original broadcast in 1969.theres 1 episode where they change the setting during the credits from vickis room to the foyer room. dont think they did that before or ever again. i think the most unique/strange credit shot was during leviathan and it was a shot of a animatronic clown!
I can also make a fantastic gin martini (Bombay, of course, kept in the freezer), Mark. Very, very dry. You wave the vermouth over it and allow the fumes to just glance against the sides of the glass - Roger Collins couldn't do it better. Of course, I shall pour you one of those ONLY when you've totally completed the novel. Until then, you'll hafta make do with Gatorade. Now hurry up with that third chapter - my art deco glass is begging for use, and you'll be able to enjoy one of my Skyy Blues.

Sorry to say, Donna, but I did start Passions when it first came on. It had been hyped as the "new" Dark Shadows of the 90's but I failed to see any similiarity.
On the otherhand, I am a fan of Port Charles since they did have a vampire storyline not too long ago and they are just finishing an angel storyline that involves a portrait that comes to life. The portrait is of a woman that was hung a few hundred years ago--townspeople thought she was a witch.

I'm printing off each chapter and I'm gonna wait until all the chapters which have been completed are on-line and printed off before I read them. I shall do so only then because such a joyous endeavor can only be done with a Skyy Blue martini (Skyy vodka with caracao poured sipped from a really neat art deco martini glass that I have). Two chapters now printed off, waiting for number three, neatly stacked.
The coolest thing ever in the world would be a Frid guest shot on Buffy!
:Dhello everyone! i'm sure quite a few of you know who i am by now, and to tell you, i love Dark Shadows even more! today, i am settling a deal with someone to buy 6 volumes of the series, volumes 29-35 (i have volume 28, i'm collecting the 1795 episodes first). well, enought about that, and back to the topic.
are you the only 1 who watches Dark Shadows in your household or town? or, do you have a sibling that likes watching too, or u have a buddy in town that watches it with you? i hate to say it, by i watch Dark Shadows alone. i wish i had someone to chat with while watching the show.
