Gerard,

The TTZ episode that freaked me out was the "To Serve Man" one with Lloyd Bockner as the ill-fated scientist on board the UFO.  Bon appetite! [easter_rolleyes]

I'm just sorry that The Ramones never recorded their own version of "I Wanna Dance For You." [easter_smiley]

I think that Rob Lowe wishes that no one in America saw his appearance on that show. [easter_rolleyes] [easter_grin]

Have you guys been to Lyndhurst?  I remember walking through the dining room in this scene way back in 1980.

One of the tour guides told me that she was there when House of Dark Shadows was filmed in 1970.  The lady said that Dan Curtis had canvas tarps placed over the windows of the mansion to help darken the camera shots.  Personally, I think the scenes look darker in Tim Burton's DS film.

I wonder if Carolyn ever made it to the so-called "combat zone" of Boston? [easter_huh] (Maybe Buzz Hackett took Carolyn to that part of Boston once or twice?)

The Buzz Hackett lookalike/Vanilla Fudge organist is Mark Stein.  Mark attended high school with my cousin, Terry, many years ago.  In fact, Mark used to play the piano at my cousin's house occasionally.  I do not know if Mark or any of the other guys in the band were DS fans.

I agree that Mark Stein does resemble old Buzz somewhat.

An appropriate song regarding Buzz and Carolyn's relationship might be "You Keep Me Hanging On"! [easter_smiley]

Patrickm,

The Dark Shadows Forums is also blocked by my library for that same reason.  DSF first got blocked about two years ago.  Before that, I could always log onto this site without any problem at the library.

I'm glad that I can log on to the DSF from home okay.

I remember when the local ABC channel in Philadelphia broadcast Dark Shadows at 3:30 pm and the local ABC channel in New York City would broadcast the same Dark Shadows episode at 4:00 pm.  It was great to be able to watch that day's DS episode twice as a result of living about fifty miles from both the City of Brotherly Love and the Big Apple.  Ah, wonderful memories of 1968!

Heck, after seeing Johnny Depp's name in that article, I half expected to see Kathy Griffin's name mentioned also.

Lookalikes: Hortense Smiley and Kathy Griffin [easter_smiley]

Maine State Police investigator Gutherie, who appeared (briefly) during the Leviathan story line.

Dear Annie,

I am so sorry to learn of your brother's death.  I know that you were devoted in your care for him as a loving sister.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

God bless.

I think Barney Fife would have solved this crime by now. [easter_smiley]

I think young David Collins would have like to have used today's modern computer technology during all of those math and history lessons with Vicky Winters.  Yet, I wonder if Vicky would have liked utilizing today's educational software?
