MB,

If James Darren (Tony Newman) jumped into Adam's room in Collinwood, maybe Sandra Dee (Gidget) might follow him as well?

How would Adam get along with Tony and how would Carolyn get along with Gidget and vice versa? [ghost_grin]

PS Maybe Adam would prefer the blonde Gidget to the blonde Carolyn Stoddard? [ghost_rolleyes]

Uncle Roger,

Perhaps you remember the television cartoons based on the Marvel Comic Book characters, including The Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man?  Each character had a song about them at the beginning of the cartoons.  Maybe the song about Bruce Banner's illegitimate son might go:

Gerard Stiles, belted by gamma rays,
turns into the Hulk,
ain't he unglamorous?
The ever-loving Hulk!, Hulk!, Hulk!!! [ghost_grin]

James Hall reminds me of a cross between Steve McQueen and Nick Adams.  And on Dark Shadows, Mr. Hall's short-lived interpretation of Willie Loomis was a fine example of "European-American trash," imo.

I believe James Hall had a role in the film, "The Anderson Tapes," which featured Sean Connery, Dyan Cannon and a very young Christopher Walken.

PS DS alum Conrad Bain was also in that cool flick.

There could be a good "death tour" in Collinsport also.  Imagine the tour guide pointing out where past and present residents of Collinsport met their deaths in The Collinsport Inn, The Blue Whale, the docks along the harbor, the site where the Todd's antique shop burned down, etc.

Of course, the Collinwood estate, where most of the murders took place, would be strictly off-limits to any sightseers, unfortunately.  [ghost_nowink]  [ghost_wink]

Uncle Roger,

I wonder if the celebrity tour guides point out those points of interest to the Dark Shadows and Superman fans as the tour bus drives down that particular street? [ghost_huh] [ghost_grin]

Sebastian takes offense when Roxanne suggests that his personal deodorant just might not be working all that well. [ghost_rolleyes] [ghost_nowink]

KLS has another novel, entitled, "Down and Out in Beverly Heels."  I haven't read it yet, but the story apparently deals with a working actress in Los Angeles, who's searching for her missing husband and trying to pay the bills.  (This does not sound like possible DS material.)

J: "When are you due, and who's the father?"

Possible fathers for Roxanne's bundle of joy:

Harry Johnson
Buzz Hackett
George Patterson
Bob Rooney
Ned Stuart
The Eagle Hill Cemetery Caretaker
Prof. T. Elliott Stokes
Ezra Braithwaite
Adam

Yes, Uncle Roger, your comment regarding Nancy Barrett is well taken.  In reading the book, it was fun trying to match up the fictional characters of the novel with the original DS' beloved television characters.
