Thanks, Bette, for the Best Buy mention--I got the cancellation notice from Amazon earlier this week, and assumed the DVD was delayed, but I went to BB today and picked up a copy.  Just finishing watching it--what a great tribute to DS to be featured at the Museum of TV and Radio.  Fun to see them all together again.  Definitely worth buying!!   

You're welcome, Brian. Glad it worked out for you. I was very surprised when I happened to see copies at BB because my local store usually does not carry much in the way of DS. My copy arrived yesterday from  CDUniverse, but I have not yet had the time to view it. I was fortunate enough to have been at the actual event at the Museum of  TV and Radio, so I know that I have a treat in store.

Thanks for the heads-up! Those of us who live out here on the left coast (where the Emmy's are currently going on) don't even get to see the show till 8:00 tonight, so I'll be prepared. Maybe I can catch a glimpse of him on the pre-Emmy arrival show at 7:00, since I know who to look for.

This version is new to me, as well.

The version that has become well known due to its use in many of the MPI catalogues has had the actors cut out and pasted over a neutral backdrop.

I think I first saw that photograph in one of the teen mags back in the day, but can't recall that they were standing in front of the Lugosi poster (I just love it that they had that in the rehearsal room!).

I remember seeing the Bela Lugosi poster, but I didn't realize that there were two different  pictures with different poses! I think the one that I'm familiar with is the 2003 Fest program pose, but now I have to go through all my Grayson stuff and see just which one I actually have a copy of!  I really like that pose on the MPI brochure.

Thanks for sharing that information. The books sounds like a scream. I'll have to see if we have it at the library. I especially liked the line about not being able to get his big fat ole butt off the ground to turn into a bat. Gotta read this book.
